All about srinivas Ramanujan | the greatest mathematician

Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887-1920) was an Indian mathematician who made significant contributions to the field of mathematics, particularly in number theory, mathematical analysis, and infinite series. Ramanujan grew up in a poor family in southern India and had very little formal education in mathematics. However, he had a remarkable natural talent for mathematics, and he independently discovered many important mathematical concepts and theorems.

Ramanujan's work includes many significant discoveries, such as the formula for the partition function of numbers, the Ramanujan prime and the Ramanujan theta function. His work also led to advances in the study of elliptic functions and the theory of prime numbers. Despite facing many challenges and obstacles throughout his life, including poor health and social discrimination, Ramanujan's contributions to mathematics have had a lasting impact on the field and continue to inspire mathematicians today.
